About Me

Nice to meet you, I'm Barbara!
I'm an artist from the Netherlands and spend most of my time drawing, reading, making and playing video games, and consuming as much science-fiction as I possibly can!
Other hobbies of mine include yoga, hanging out with my friends, and recently I've also taken up digicam photography.

I'm about to start my last year of uni studying game art, which is both very exciting and completely terrifying. After school I hope to start working in the game industry as a concept artist! Besides making art I also really enjoy taking on the roles of writer and narrative designer for my projects.
I'm a massive science-fiction nerd, and most of what I make fits inside that genre. Currently I'm very interested in narratives and philosophies about cyborgs and artificial intelligence, especially when it involves queer and/or neurodivergent readings. I'm also very interested in aliens, space travel, feminism (the trans inclusive kind), punk (the anti fascist kind), retrofuturism, spooky photography and cryptid forest creatures.
